I’ve worked as a home hospice social worker and grief therapist for 16 years. I am a theist of some kind but probably too much of an anti-authoritarian to have traditional faith. My work has only increased my sense of Something Mysterious and Bigger.

I think the problem is that we try to use logic to ‘prove’ aspects of our human experience that are not logical. ‘Not logical’ doesn’t mean Wrong. I sense (I know- loaded word) we are not just of science and measurable material. If this author gets meaning through Christianity, I like his impulse to share his experience.
