I would like to add that self care, in the deepest sense, is about taking the time to listen to your self and honor what’s needed. Sleep? A hug? Positive self talk? A doctor’s appointment? It is a daily practice of trying to treat ourselves with the same respect we treat others. Wellness and self care is only superficially a spa treatment. Thank you. I like your perspective.
