I think Kristin has a lot of interesting insights about the way men objectify women and also…women sometimes use ‘nice’ guys. A great film that has many of the same themes and is a little bit more affirming is ‘Don Jon’. I will say, that I was married to someone very much like Ted (who also may be a sociopath- certainly he lacks resilience) and I appreciate her attempt to get into the mindset.

I hope that human beings in general can aim for more intimacy and respect than we seem to imagine now.
