I am very interested in this topic. I wonder about the excesses in the experience of white males (privilege is an excess of a certain kind of experience) that might feed in to anti-social and sociopathic thinking and behavior, i.e. lack of empathy. I agree that the public way of telling this story is about more privilege. Do you think white men, when they are anti-social, are anti-social in a particular kind of way that is ‘white?’ The gender part is so interesting too. Thanks for your post.
